Persona 4 True Ending

Hi everyone, I’m back. Last post I promise to write about the ending of Persona 4 and this is it. This post contains major spoiler about the ending of the game, so if you never play it before, I suggest that you do not read this post for your own sake, hehehe. Actually, it is up to you whether you want to read or not. Let’s begin. ^_^

Persona 4 is great. It’s storyline and soundtracks are very amazing. Although the conversation full of proverb or phrase that I do not know and need a hard time to translate it, it still attracts me to play it once more. There are 2 things that makes me curious, beating Margaret and fusing Izanagi no Okami. Those 2 are only available in new game +.

Oh, I forget to tell this. To tell you the truth, I finish this game in January 2011. At first I want to write down the ending as soon as I saw the true ending, but I decided to delay it because I want to play the Xenosaga Trilogy, hehehe. Talking about Xenosaga, I have already finish the first episode and now in the middle of episode 2. Enough talk.

Back to Persona 4, the main storyline is to find the culprit of serial murderer in this town. I can’t believe that culprit is Tohru Adachi, assistant of Detective Dojima. I mean, he is so straightforward and do not act like a culprit until the very end of the game.

After knowing the real culprit is Adachi, the party (Souji Seta and friends) start to pursue him. They ended up in Magatsu Inaba. After beating Adachi, he transformed into Amenosagiri and Amenosagiri revealed why the fog in Midnight Channel exist. Finally the party managed to kill Amenosagiri and the fog lifted. Everything’s back to normal.

The date forwarded to March 20 when Souji should say a goodbye word to his maxed social link. I succeeded to max it all. This is a few photo that I take from the game. Sorry for bad result because I use my cellphone. :P

Nanako wants to marry Souji ?!

And what is it? Margaret KISSed Souji ?! What in the world was that ! I shocked for the first time I watch that, Souji’s first kiss was taken by Margaret? Or is it really his first kiss? Ooohh, I don’t know what Atlus thinks.

After Souji talks to everyone, you prompted to choose to go back to your house or not. If not, you will get normal ending. For true ending, choose no. Now go to Junes, head to the lift and option will pop out, it ask you to go to your house or not, choose no, and another option that ask you for last business in Junes or not, choose yes. The party will held a meeting discussing about the truth behind the Midnight Channel and Persona.

Finally you will know that the man in gas station is Izanami, the creator of Midnight Channel. The party decided to fight Izanami to end this once and for all. The last dungeon Yomotsu Hirasaka revealed and Izanami is in the top floor.

After some struggling, the party faced Izanami. Izanami told everything about Midnight Channel, why she gave that power to enter the Midnight Channel, about Amenosagiri, and everything. The problem is all solved. Izanami started to attack the party and you have to fight Izanami. The first form is not very hard, with Hassou Tobi and Power Charge 3-4 time, you will kill Izanami. When her hit point reached 0, she began to transform into Izanami no Okami, saying that she is the real god.

This is the hardest part of the last battle. Her skill will do about 100 damage even at level 99. But this battle can’t be won, you just need to hit her until she use the Thousand Curse and sucked all battle party. You will be thrown in unknown world, laying down with no power left. After that, your social link will come out, giving you a courage to end Izanami. With the power of your social link, you gain new power, and Izanagi transformed into Izanagi no Okami.

You will be back at the battle, this time you alone. Izanami continued her attack but none of that work. “Souji (or whatever you character name is) withstood the attack” will pop up in the screen several time. Your hit point will remain 1. And it comes your turn, you can’t use item, guard, or normal attack. The only choice is use special attack provided, Myriad Truth.

With only this final attack, you can kill Izanami. Finally, you made it. Izanami died, and Inaba once again come to peace.

After some conversation, you will meet Igor, saying that you get the true ending.

When he is done talking, a scene will play, and I think this is the best scene in the game.

Teddy's real world

You will be brought to some great place that Teddy remember he ever saw it. He said it is the world in Midnight Channel before the fog lift, or in the other word it is Teddy’s real world.

After this scene, the day will end. And the next day is your final day in Inaba, March 21st. Your friend will surrounding you saying goodbye for the last time.

Naoto will go to the city ?

That is when Naoto will go back with Souji, saying with red face. But she decided to stay in Inaba to aid the police when there is a case.

After the conversation, the credit roll and the ending and the best song in the game played, Never More by Shihoko Hirata.

Finally, I Nearly Beat Persona 4

Akhirnya bisa posting lagi setelah sekian lama. Kali ini aku akan bahas tentang game buatan Atlus, Persona 4. Persona 4 dirilis pada tahun 2008 dan aku memainkannya tahun 2009 karena versi USA baru sampai di Indonesia tahun 2009. Kesan pertama yang timbul adalah soundtracknya yang keren, apalagi saat battle, Reach Out to the Truth. Setelah main kira-kira sampai setengah jalan, aku baru sadar ternyata aku main mode Easy. Huft, agak nyesel sih, tidak ada semangat lagi. Aku putuskan buat ngulang dari awal. Tapi ternyata semester 4 dan 5 membuatku tidak bisa menyentuh PS2, aku lebih berkutat dengan laptop. Saat liburan akhir semester 4 aku main lagi tapi hanya sekedar buat save-save-an di awal. Setelah itu vakum sampai liburan akhir semester 5.

Tepatnya tanggal 29 Desember 2010, saat masa tenang ujian semester aku lanjutkan game ini. Tiap hari aku main kira-kira 8 jam. Amazing.. Dan akhirnya 14 Januari aku sampai di dungeon terakhir.. Senangnya.. ^_^ Walaupun sempat terhenti karena ujian semester selama 1 minggu, akhirnya bisa sampai penghujung game.

The game itself has 3 different ending : Bad, Good, and True Ending. I had seen two of those, the bad and good. Now, I still playing for the True Ending. It gives me 108 hours to get to the final dungeon with maxed all social link and status. Thanks for GameFaqs, I use the guide from there.

Eventhough I use the guide, it still hard to maxed out before the town became so foggy (in December). But I didn’t give up yet. There were 5 Social link left: Death, Temperance, Moon, Sun, and Tower. Through some luckiness, I finish all of that. I’m so happy, hahaha ^_^.

In Persona 4, we allowed to have more than 1 girlfriend. So I decided to get all girlfiend. My friend told me that if you get all the girl become your girlfriend, you will not get the Christmast event. But it’s all wrong. I still get the Christmast event with all my lover sent me the invitation.

The key is you must clear the Magatsu Inaba before 23rd December, so it means that the last day to clear is 22nd. The girl I chose in the Christmast Eve is Naoto Shirogane. I want to look her in regular school uniform. And I’m surprised that she is so cute. ^_^

The conversation is rather weird, "Y-You want me here tonight... ?". The first thing that come to my mind was "Will they do 'it' ?" . Haha, since the distance less than 1 m. ^_^ So, are they really do it ? We will never know. hahaha

The other thing that surprised me is Souji Seta ( the Main Char ) allowed to marry Nanako Dojima * what ?!..

See ? Dojima says "Sure." It means that Nanako is allowed to marry Souji. ^_^ But I prefer Naoto than Nanako. ( of course, imagine how old Souji is when Nanako get 20 ? )

Now, move on to the other thing. The Magatsu Inaba boss itself not too difficult. My level is 83 and the other around 80. Its slightly easy. Now I’m in the Yomotsu Hirasaka for the true ending.

My party is Souji, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko. Its my party from beginning and now I will use them to clear Yomotsu Hirasaka and defeat Izanami.

Selesai juga nulis postingan kali ini. Ternyata susah ya bikin tulisan pake bahasa Inggris. Huft.. Lain kali aku lanjutin lagi, tentu saja setelah menamatkan Persona 4. Hihihi ^_^

P4 USA version

Tanggal 9 Desember kemaren, Persona 4 versi USA resmi dirilis. Hal ini tentunya membuat gamer di dunia senang. Tak terlewatkan gamer di Indonesia, khususnya aku sendiri. Padahal game Persona 3 FES yang kumainin belum tamat, eee, malah P4 udah keluar..Piye ki SU??!!!!

Rencana aku mau namatin P3FES bulan ini. Tapi karena kendala ujian dan tugas yang menumpuk, jadwal namatinnya rada mundur. Ga pa pa lah, skalian nunggu walkthroughnya keluar.

Akibat dari ujian dan tugas yang banyak, blog ini jadi sedikit ga terurus. Contoh masalah postingan. Akhir-akhir ini jumlah postingan per bulan kurang dari 10. Padahal klo mau jadi blogger yang terkenal, minimal jumlah postingan harus 15 per bulan. Piye ki su?!??!!!

Yang penting kita utamain urusan pendidikan dulu tapi jangan melupakan urusan blogging.

PERSONA 4 REVIEW

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (ペルソナ4, Perusona 4, abbreviated P4) is chronologically the sixth installment in the Persona console RPG series. The game was developed by Atlus for the Sony Playstation 2 console. Rather than the city locales of previous games in the series, Persona 4 will take place in a fictional Japanese countryside. It features a weather forecast system with events happening on misty days to replace the moon phase system (with events happening on full moons in Persona 3) implemented in the previous games. Its story is a suspenseful countryside murder mystery with multiple twists and turns in the plot.

A North American release has been set for December 9th, 2008.

Persona 4's gameplay and style stays similar to Persona 3's. The game appears to run on the same engine as its predecessor. Features such as Community (Social Link in English localization,) One More and All-out Attack from Persona 3 return. Shoji Meguro remains as the music director for the game. Although Persona 3 had a more modern style and design, Persona 4 features a more retro one. The glasses, given by Kuma, play an important role in the game, and allow the party to see through the heavy mist inside Mayonaka TV and decrease stamina loss. Apparently Kuma himself does not need a pair. The pistol-like Evokers of Persona 3 are replaced by tarot cards, which the main characters shatter in order to summon their respective Personas.

PERSONA 3 REVIEW

Persona 3 FES is the translation of Persona 3 (I think ^_^) plus some new features like The Answer option in the title after The Journey.
In FES you can even more understand the story because it has additional FMV or cutscene. Moreover you can fuse up to 3 Persona at a time.
Here, you play as Main (of course you can change your char name) who controlled the Orpheus as your first Persona. Your goal is to defeat all 12 Shadows that roaming in your world. You can only do this during the Dark Hour. And that Dark Hour only appears after 12.00 p.m.

As you play the game, you'll find new friend by talking to him/her everyday. Each of your friend hold a certain Persona. Also your link to your friend is divided to 10 levels that determined your Persona level. The higher the level, your Persona will get stronger. But, for your main friend, the level is gained automatically.

There are at least 4 character in this game. They are :you, Yukari Takeba, Mitsuru Kirijo, and Akihiko Sanada. In the middle of the game, Fuuka Yamagishi joins the party. I think there is one more character but I rather forget the name.

Overall, this game is basically for teen. But it can also playable for children. Soundtrack, cutscene, FMV and character are matching to this game. Really, this game is the greatest RPG game (for me..^_^).

S.E.E.S, Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, is a team in the famous game known as Persona 3 which specialized in defeating Shadows, the main enemy in Persona 3.
This team member are Yukari Takeba, Akihiko Sanada, the Main Character, Mitsuru Kirijo, and Junpei Iori. Later comes Fuuka Yamagishi.
There are 12 Shadows in total that must be eliminated. Will they be able to defeat them?? Play the game and find the answer...^_^
